This is my fourth post to update you about social networks on which you can find and follow me.
Soundcloud was initially intended to give musicians and labels a platform to exchange music but it eventually turned into the "Instagram for music". This very strong worldwide community allows me to reach even more people with my music than if I'd just post it on deepershades.net. If you're an artist, Soundcloud is also perfect to share your demos with me through a simple message.
I usually post the Deeper Shades Of House radio shows, Deeper Shades Recordings releases, occasionally DJ mixes, as well as my own remixes & productions on my Soundcloud profile, some of which can be downloaded and others are just available to stream.
For example check out this Deeper Shades Of House Classic Special for the 400th show:

Here's the second post this year to update you on my social networks. After touching on Instagram in the first post, I'd like to let you know about the network on which I share 140 characters of my opinions, last minute updates on gigs, times of my live broadcasts and more - Twitter
There are two accounts you can follow, @LarsLB, my personal account and @DeeperShades which is mostly about what's playing on the Deeper Shades Radio Network, the show and the label.

AJ Dance from Atlanta reviews the parties he enjoys and the DJs who make him dance and he might have been present at all of Lars Behrenroth's gigs in ATL. When Lars recently played at Stan Zeff's and DJ Be's TAMBOR party this was no different and AJ reviewed the gig with a detailed play by play on his blog AJ DANCE LEGACY.
Lars is that eight year old child mistakenly left in a music studio, playing with the controls, sliding crossfaders, turning knobs, and pushing buttons that light up bright colors while he grins mischievously. Behind the decks, he is a mad scientist. Lars concocts further antidotes of claptrap rarely heard in these parts. Voiceovers and sampled vocals float haphazardly over the loudest percussions imaginable. Lyrics collide into digital beeps and pongs. The faint of ears need protection.....

To put the icing on the 10 year anniversary cake of my radio show "Deeper Shades Of House" I just heard about the nomination in the Best Podcast category for the upcoming International Dance Music Awards. The critically acclaimed awards show, which will take place during the Winter Music Conference in Miami, USA at the end of March, is one of the leading award shows in the Electronic Dance Music scene and after first being nominated in the same category in 2011, this is now my 2nd nomination.
The voting ballot, inviting ALL dance music lovers from anywhere in the world to vote for their favorites, is open until March 1st.
The majority of nominees fall into the commercial side of dance music, so you're not only voting for "Deeper Shades Of House" (Best Podcast category 27) but also for Deep House as a genre you like, considering all other nominated podcasts are either Trance or Commercial House shows.
Please make sure to get your vote counted by clicking the confirmation link in the email you'll receive shortly after voting. Vote >>> www.deepershades.net/idma
I appreciate your support and already say thank you for your vote!Lars Behrenroth Continue Reading
