Turner Club’s foundations were built on dancefloors of the 2000s and 2010s, not hidden away in bedrooms and studios. After meeting at a Danny Krivit gig 22 years ago, the pair spent over a decade promoting and curating underground club nights in the local area for artists including Moodymann, Theo Parrish, and DJ Spinna. That time spent absorbing the weight, soul, and discipline of Detroit and Chicago house continues to form the backbone of their sound today.
