Wow. This just left me speechless and my mouth wide open in awe. Carl Craig worked with pianist Francesco Tristano to arrange his compositions for a classical orchestra. The result is stunning and 1h 7min and 45sec long. This concert was recorded on October 18th 2008 at Cité de la Musique in Paris, France. You can read a more extensive review on Grandcrew.com.

Nov 04 2008 09:10:14 Sounds very interesting, a bit strange when the bassline starts. i mean carl craig had the easiest part. the drummer (hit hats) is awesome, hard to hold the rhythm for such a ling time. and the conductor had a cool rhythm/dance style. try to catch the complete album.

Nov 04 2008 17:35:51 WOW. a pure classical, jazzy, and housey orchestral set. i've never seen someone integrate an orchestra live, but i definitely enjoyed it. Carl Craig may have had one of the easiest positions in the performace (Technology) but it's easy to say it was a very hard concept to conquer. I especially enjoy the bass track entrance to move if from a pure classical mix into somthing a bit more electronic, but the last 50 seconds of the track is awsome. looking forward to see more of this go on.

Nov 04 2008 17:43:25 I suggest you guys go to the site grandcrew.com to check out the whole concert. It is mindblowing. Carl Craig composed this project. I am sure it wasn't that easy. He just makes it look easy.
