I got one suggestion on Facebook, mentioning to expand the member profiles. I have been looking into that as I want to involve all of you as a community. Would be great to allow you to add your favorite shows to your profiles and similar things. What do you think?

the only thing I would've liked to have changed i think has been done already. Whenever I came to the site everytime i'd click on any of the links the ustream session would start over. I think that's been resolved now... perhaps it was on my side. Keep up the great work Lars. The VAST majority of us truly appreciate all of the time and effort you put into these mixes. I've been exposed to a lot of new music that I wouldn't have had as much a chance to listen to if it werent for your show.


Feel free to come back to Miami sometime soon too!

Hmmm.. the adding of favorite shows to your profile would be really awesome.. I'm sure whatever you make of this site would be awesome, to me, just keep the teal.. n like the last comment, I agree 100%.. If it weren't for this show, there would be soO many tracks I wud've never heard .. so Thank You again..

Adding your favorite shows would be a great idea.

Not sure what CMS you are going to use for your new site, but if there was an option for user to be able to disable or enable the various plug-ins that you have on your site that would be quite swell.

Ultimately I think that the a clean and slim front/home page with the information on the latest podcast would look pretty fly in my opinion.

don't think that would be an option.. using Joomla. but I'll look into it ..
however. deepershades.net is most certainly about more than just the podcast .. the podcast is just a portion of it all so I wouldn't want it to take centerstage by itself ..

So what kinds things would are you thinking about putting on the home page?

basically it'll be three main parts .. equally the same size ..
one for the latest shows, one for the label (artists / news / releases) and one about myself (gigs, releases, news) ..

menu will be cleaned up and I'll remove a bunch of the clutter and ALL advertising on all pages ..

so far, so good

however .. the ability for one to download / subscribe to podcast etc. will be made even easier than it is ..

As I do purchase a fair amount of tracks that I hear on your show, I would really appreciate a direct link to you playlist to traxsource/juno/beatport/djdownload or to the producer's site - or maybe even more easy, a page where producers / labels can promote their tracks that you have played (and then have them link to whatever download store), In that way, you don't have to do all the updates. Just an idea.

I'm still searching for the Acid Pauli's rework of Marvin Gay's "what going on". Man, that is dope.

Otherwise, wanted to say a big thumbs-up for your comments in recent shows regarding (i) folks who nag about serverspeed but don't donate and (ii) your comment about track-beggars. good for you, I really really appreciate people who stand by their word. That is truly deep.

how about you have a slide of the track name and artist on the archived mixes.
