KAGISO PITSONG

Born in the mid 80’s in Mafikeng(north west, South Africa),Kagiso “kaygee85” Pitsong graduated from high school and continued with his studies in sound engineering at Damelin campus Academy of sound engineering. In 2005 he travelled back to Johannesburg to finish off his studies as a sound engineer at Academy of sound engineering and hoping to make connections on the music industry. In 2009 him and lungelo went on and produced Dj Sbu’s hit single called “I am music” and in 2010 kagiso had a house track called “cuferu” that appeared on Various Shades Vol.1 compiled by Lars Behrenroth from deepershades recordings. This track became a hit internationally. On the first week of it’s release it made it to number 23 on traxsource top 100, helping to raise Kagiso’s profile in South Africa and in other parts of the world.
