About Deeper Shades of House
Deeper Shades of House (DSoH), hosted by Lars Behrenroth is a weekly two hour program on one of XM Satellite Radio’s dance stations ‘The Move’ (Channel 80).

The first DSoH edition on XM Radio was aired on July 4^th, 2003 and was initially a syndicated version of Lars’ weekly radio show broadcasted on the German radio station JAM FM (aired first on June 8^th, 02) in English language.

 

Deep House in all its different shapes and shades is the main genre featured on DSoH compiled from brand new music and songs the listeners might not have heard in a while next to guest mixes by Djs from all over the world.

Past guest Djs included Louie Vega, MKL, Phil Asher, Seiji, Matthias Heilbronn, Terrence Parker, Mr. V and many more.

Lars Behrenroth, DJ since 1986, Producer, Remixer and Radio show host since 1996 relocated in 2004 from Hamburg, Germany to Los Angeles, CA.

He is known to many people as the host of several radio shows (‘House Sound of Hamburg’ on Evosonic Radio and Streetsound NYC (’97-’99) / ‘Global House Connection’ on online stations Cyberradio, Netmusique.com, electrone.net etc. with syndication on in Turkey & Sarajevo / ‘3rd Street Sessions’ on CyberJamz Radio and ‘Deeper Shades of House’ on XM Radio in the US & Canada and formerly JAM FM, Germany).

As a remixer for artists incl. Q-Burns Abstract Message feat. Lisa Shaw, Arnold Jarvis, The Rurals, Dubtribe Soundsystem, MJ Cole and a producer with releases on labels like Chez Music, Sonar Kollektiv, Perfect Toy, Compost, Deep 4 Life, Liebe*Detail and many more he has accumulated an impressive discography.
